What we aim for
This site is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or a phone held one-handed on a bus. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- Every product image carries alt text that describes what is actually in the picture, not a list of keywords.
- Navigation is ordinary HTML links, so it works without JavaScript and reads correctly in a screen reader.
- Interactive elements show a visible focus outline when reached by keyboard.
- Buttons and links meet a minimum 44-pixel touch target.
- Text sizes use relative units and reflow rather than breaking when you zoom.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Page structure uses one main heading per page with a logical heading order beneath it.
Where we know we fall short
Some product images contain text as part of the artwork — that is the nature of a sticker with words on it. The alt text describes what the design says, but the words themselves are not selectable.
